The AmeriGlide Express Dumbwaiter uses a 1/3hp 90-volt DC motor and plugs into any 115-volt grounded electrical outlet. The standard dumbwaiter model has a weight capacity limit of 100 pounds, although a higher-weight capacity version that can bear up to 200 lbs. is also available. The standard unit boasts dimensions of 20" W x 20" D x 30" H; custom-made units can accommodate dimensions up to 30" W x 30" D x 36" H. Every AmeriGlide Express is covered by a 5-year warranty on the drive train and a 2-year warranty on all parts.
AmeriGlide Express Dumbwaiters are fully assembled when delivered - all that is needed to install the unit is a vertical shaft. You won't need to put in a complicated pulley or rail systems to use our dumbwaiter! We frequently work with contractors to keep installations simple and quick, and can assist your construction expert with application drawings that will work perfectly in your home's layout.
The AmeriGlide Express Dumbwaiter meets all ANSI standards and uses aircraft cable rated to hold up to 1800 pounds of weight (do not exceed recommended weight limits during use, however). This dumbwaiter can travel as high as 32 feet, and it climbs the shaft at 20 feet per minute. As few as two and as many as four stops can be programmed into the unit for your utmost convenience on every floor. Ivory-coated steel panel walls and doors come standard with every unit, but stainless steel door panels are also available at an additional cost.
